Our company has one of the most popular business applications on the Apple iTunes store for the iPhone and iPad. Several Fortune 500 and mid market businesses use our products to increase productivity. As mobile tablets such as the Apple iPad disrupt the workforce, our mobile applications and software improve the ability for businesses to easily consume and publish data rich to improve office productivity. As Product Marketing guru, you will drive the product marketing initiatives to help us continue to accelerate our dramatic growth as well as drive/oversee the product marketing strategy, execution, and budgets and be accountable for product marketing results of our marketing efforts. You are an integral member of the Marketing team and therefore, will work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Channel Marketing, Corporate Communications, outside agencies and vendors to maximize market awareness and market leadership as we make our Marketing goals reality. Because you understand the importance of connecting the dots, you will create killer sales tools that help the sales teams differentiate Roambi mobile applications and software – your tools will enable sales success by communicating the value proposition of new and existing products to the sales team, and by developing sales materials and tools that support the selling process, including competitive sales guides, presentations, training, product demos, etc. You will define positioning, messaging, segmentation and value proposition across segments to establish our unique position as well as lead Go-to-Market planning and executive for releases of new products/services. As an expert in Product Marketing, you will adeptly conduct competitive analysis and define key use cases for new feature releases; meet with market analysts and influencers, present at trade shows, conferences and webinars; and support partner marketing activities including joint campaigns and product launches. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where people are passionate about our product, customers and services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 3+ years marketing experience in a high tech company.
• Superior Powerpoint and/or Keynote expertise with the ability to tell a compelling story to partners, sales teams and customers.
• Proven track record in crafting compelling positioning and thought leadership content.
• Proven success in effectively managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Expertise in working with cross-functional to include product management and engineering.
• Willing and ability to travel up to 20%.
• This position is located in San Diego, CA. So you must be a local candidate and/or willing to relocate to San Diego.
• Past hands-on experience using CRM systems.
