Professional Experience

After 5 years in the staffing industry as a recruiter and manager, John ventured out with two of his colleagues to start ProHire (formerly Alpha Pro Staffing) in 2008. His vision was to build an organization where employees genuinely took ownership of the company they were helping to create.

John is a consummate professional with over 10 years of staffing and recruitment experience gained at some of the most prestigious firms in the industry.  A natural leader with strong background in building and managing teams and equal strength in operations management, it was a natural move for John to specialize in recruitment and staffing.   He has a repertoire of various skills which have afforded him the opportunity to become an effective partner and strategic leader. Through his relentless work, he helped global Fortune 1000 companies and small start-up organizations align their human capital with their strategic business objectives.  Although John is adept in recruiting for various positions, his niche is in Sales, Sales Management, and mid-level to C-level executive appointments.

With a reputation for impeccable service, his clients continuously trust John to deliver. He is driven by excellence and professionalism, both of which are reflected in his accomplished career.

Prior to Launching ProHire

Prior to starting ProHire, John served under the capacity of Managing Director at Culver Careers.  He was responsible for driving the recruitment campaigns for Fortune 1000 companies and privately-held organizations.  He led all phases of the recruitment process from identifying the clients’ needs, qualifying candidates, final job offer, and follow-up.  He garnered several awards including, but not limited to, Recruiter of the Month, Outstanding Manager, and President’s Club awards.

Upon graduating from college, John worked as an Internet Application Developer for ESRI and Goldmine Software.  During this time, he was able to further hone his analytical and problem-solving skills - skills that are imperative in the successful design and execution of recruitment strategies. 


John graduated from the California State University – San Bernardino with a Bachelor of Science in Business Management – Information Management.
